COMMENTARY

This joyful prayer was originally a Christmas hymn, hence the echoes in its opening words of the angels' message to the shepherds.
Deo to-God  < Deus (masc 2nd declension) Dative singular
hominibus to-people < homo (masc 3rd declension) Dative plural
bonae voluntatis of-good will < voluntas (fem 3rd declension) Genitive singular

The verbs are in the first person plural ending in -mus < laudare, benedicere, adorare, glorificare, gratias agere

The nouns are in form 2, the vocative, because the prayer is addressing God. This form is distinct only in regular masculine nouns of the second declension Domine  Christe, (but note the irregular Jesu) otherwise it is identical to the basic form 1, the nominative: Deus (irregular inthis form only) Rex, Pater (3rd declension)

The verbs are in the second person singular for statements sedes ,tollis the imperative for requests suscipe miserere
