The aim of this new website is to provide those interested in, or curious about, Latin for liturgical purposes with an idea of how the language works. It is therefore more like a users guide than a textbook. If it encourages readers to go on to learn some Latin, then all the better.

 

It should be stressed that I have no agenda beyond an interest in, and love for these ancient Latin prayers. The site is provided as a resource for all who wish to make use of it, whichever form of the mass they prefer, indeed whatever their religious views may be.
